I ain't no candle in the wind...

 

Mr M

 Today I want to write something about my dear friend Mr M, aka The Greatest Pizza Lover, Max the Shih Tzu. I cannot imagine my life without him, he is my little ray of sunshine, and even though he can be sassy and annoying, I love him so much.
I had my first dog when I was around 15 years old, and sadly he passed away due to his liver problem. My parents were devastated, and that's why they decided they don't want another pet, so we didn't have any for a long time. When I was 17, my neighbours bought a Beagle, and I used to play with him; I wanted to have my own dog, but my family still said no.
Once, when I was on holiday with my dad, and we were staying at a hotel, the people who lived next door, had a Shih Tzu. He came to our room using a balcony, and when I first saw him I was scared, because I didn't expect a dog to come into my room, but then I fell in love with him. He was so funny, so cute, he even let me cuddle him. Soon I learnt everything about Shih Tzus, watched every You Tube video about them, but my dad said he would buy me a puppy after my final exams.
So  when I was 19, I finally met my own Shih Tzu. When I first saw a photo of Mr M, I knew immediately that I wanted him. When he finally came to our house, he was little and scared, but soon he started to be sassy and very independent. Shih Tzu have a very strong will, and I was aware of it, but still, it surprised me how stubborn Mr M can be. When he wants to be cuddled or something, you MUST take him on your lap, but when you want him to come and he is not in the mood... No way.
What is great about Shih Tzus, they don't need a company to be entairtained. An empty bottle can be a great toy for them, and make them busy for a long time. Mr M is very good at reading my emotions, he knows when I am tired, sad or happy. When I want a nap, he usually lies down next to me and we sleep together.
One more important thing is, Shih Tzus are loud. Maybe they don't bark very often, but they snore, sigh, sing or snort. For example, when I want Mr M to be closer to me, and I try to grab him and he doesn't want it, he sighs so loudly, like oh my, give me some rest, woman.
But overall, he is my friend, and I am just crazy about him. I even created an Instagram account for his photos, beacause I really find him photogenic, I mean, he is definitely a better model than I am.
